Last night, I had a dream about a TD show.

I distinctly remember the playing of "Not Everything is Pop" and requesting "Wendy P" but can't remember what else I heard.

But then I recall that Steve just walked off stage and we asked him why and he said that his bongos were broken.

It was a good show, though, guys.
Nice dream work.

The first review is in!
The Ghetto Thunder Review has honored the Deucers with the first review of their upcoming album "Curse of the Great Bambi". Here is what the The Thunderous one had to say:

"that was some good stuff- btw, heard the new Studio TD-- very solid stuff"

"you guys sounded pretty tight for a basement demo"

"i like the drums on Amber Waves-- they're cute and quirky"

"sounded solid either way"

"wendy p sounds very weezer-ish"

"the bongos and cymbals work for it"

"alright, i'm off to the post office"

"Curse of the Great Bambi" and the in-studio DVD "Attack of the Juice-Asaurus" will be available through SG order in late January / early February.

The Curse o-
Well, the kids are back in school now. We got roughly five songs done, four of which are posted on MySpace. I don't know when we'll get the rest done, but at least now we have something to give to people.

If anyone knows someone from a record company, say hello to them.

Anyway, I'm feeling a very fruitful and productive semester coming on. I haven't seriously sat down and worked on songs like I used to when I was in high school, so I'm trying to do more of that. I'll occasionally post my works-in-progress on my personal MySpace, if anyone cares to listen.

In the mean time, ROCK STRONG! and party strong.

Did you remember cowbell?
The Thoughtfully Deuce is in the recording studio at the Cunninghouse, as you well know. We've made some pretty big strides, punching through eight songs, with three or four more planned. It's looking like we might actually finish this thing before we have to resume our studies. So cross your fingers.

In the meantime, check out http://www.myspace.com/thoughtfullydeuce for some quality photos of the process. We'll post some of the new recorded material as soon as it's all cleaned up.

Also, I strongly recommend http://www.myspace.com/eatenalive if you're into "never giving in to comercial hypocrassy bullshit another words never sell out!!!!!!! fuck that poser shyt !!!!!!!" as one of their fans articulated.

Paint the house and sand the froor.
Thoughtfully Deuce is back in town, and the recording of our "album" is under way. We worked on "Blueberry Garden," "Stanley Witherspoon," and "Wendy P" today, laying down some basic/drum tracks. The name of the album will be The Curse of the Great Bambi, and Brandy Parker will be the mastermind behind the cover art. We hope to release it to the public before we leave for school again.

We're playing tonight at Ann's, if anyone reads this in time. We'll be there around 7.

Milwaukee Talkie
A big announcement was made today regarding the geographical status of percussionist Stephen Olechefboyarde. His parents are making the move to the land of dairy, beef, and alcohol products: Milwaukee. Steve is fully supportive of his parents' decision, but he still wants to stay in Valpo for the upcoming summer. So if anyone knows where Steve could find shelter for the harsh, weathered months of April through September, let us know! (S)TD's beat box needs you!

title or description
Steve says, "I need a home!"

We promise he doesn't smell, and he doesn't eat, like, a lot. Mostly, he'll just sleep and go to the beach.

Stage Names
A very close friend of Thoughtfully Deuce has suggested stage names for the members. He reccomended: T-Bone McGillicudy - dispenser of the stringed mystery, and Sausage Mahoney, keeper of the beats. I think they're catchy and would bring another dynamic element to the ThoughtfullyGiving dinner table. I'd like to hear the thoughts of others on these names, or if you think you can do better, lets hear them.

An announcement
I've decided to make two separate myspace profiles: One for the promotional use of Thoughtfully Deuce, and the other for my own personal use.

http://www.myspace.com/thoughtfullydeuce will be the promotional one.

http://profiles.myspace.com/users/6972889 (or http://www.myspace.com/r) will be my personal profile. I'll use this one to communicate song ideas and my progress on different songs to Steve and whoever else is interested. Right now, I have a new song posted that Steve and I have been working on, and a song that Ben Ski wrote that I put music to.

In other news, I need to do my math homework. Thumbs down to math homework!

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Steve, the man some call the smellier half of Thoughtfully Deuce...but that's just the word on the street.

I'd also like to express my gratitude to Google Images for the pictorial representation of my welcome.

Two more songs on http://www.myspace.com/thoughtfullydeuce. They're recordings from Anneliesje's, courtesy of Ben Lawson.

Also, you can now download and rate the songs, which is pretty cool.

Update on MySpace
I posted a brand-new song on http://www.myspace.com/thoughtfullydeuce called "Shoopa." I didn't realize it until about five minutes ago, but it sounds a little like "Blueberry Garden." Anyway, it's a song I just wrote, so no one has really heard it yet. Enjoy!
